ELLSO Amersham Weekend 26-28 February 2010

Love the Saturday sessions? Sign up for a whole weekend of ELLSO magic in the beautiful setting of Woodrow High House in Amersham. The weekend is open to ELLSO members at all levels, as well as to former ELLSO and CoMA members. We particularly encourage new late starters to come along. It’s not only brilliant fun but also a great opportunity for you to get to know existing members at all different stages.

• Two ensembles and full orchestral sessions
• Special sessions and technique classes
• Informal group playing

Costs

• Course fees, full accommodation and food: £155
• Course fees, non-residential: £75 (plus meals extra at £5 per meal)
• Some concessionary places available

Timetable

• Friday evening - arrive by 8pm for supper, followed by introductions and a full orchestra session
• Saturday - full orchestral and ensemble sessions, technique options (choose one of the following: improvisation/playing by ear; playing from memory; compositions; quartets), swimming, Mudlark
• Sunday - full orchestral and ensemble sessions and play through
• Times for non-residential guests - Friday until 10pm; Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm; Sunday 9.30am - 3.30pm.
