Fees cover all tuition and music provided by ELLSO and use of facilities provided by Doncaster College. There is a range of options to suit all tastes and pockets, from £275 for self-catering day visitors and campers, up to £675 for full board, single ensuite accommodation in the Old Hall.

Take advantage of the Early Bird discount of £25 (which applies to all fees) if you pay in full before 1 March 2010. In addition, a limited number of concessionary and bursary places are available on a first-come, first-served basis. See the Application Form for a full list of fees and options.

Payment

You can pay by cheque or online (online payments would be preferred). All details are set out in the Application Form.

Early booking is essential for the following: the limited number of fully ensuite rooms in Old Hall, hostel single rooms with ensuite shower and twin rooms. These are allocated on a combination of first-come, first-served and special needs.

The Summer School is usually oversubscribed. If we are unable to offer you a place when you apply, we will put you on the waiting list (unless you request otherwise).

Cancellations and insurance

Fees will be refunded, less deposit, up until 30 June 2010. Cancellations after 30 June are non-refundable.

It is highly recommended that applicants take out holiday insurance. In addition, the ELLSO String Summer School accepts no liability for loss of personal belongings or damage to musical instruments, howsoever caused. Participants are strongly advised to arrange both holiday and instrument insurance before they travel.
