Upper strings

  • Recap on 1st year work
  • Moving 2nd fingers
  • 1st finger back (flat keys)
  • Use 4th finger (Bb 2 octaves, Eb 2 octaves violas)
  • Playing 2 open strings
  • String crossing
  • Arpeggios

  • Possibly: get used to moving hand up higher (eg. play same tune on different notes)
